Advanced Association Management is a trade association management firm based in Milford, Nebraska. AAM fulfills the executive director role for small to mid-size associations by offering our clients a cost and staff-sharing model. A large part of our duties includes conferences, trade shows, and event planning for events such as Nebraska Fire School, Nebraska Arborists School, the Caribbean Cable Telecommunications trade show, the Mid-America Cable Show, the TOAST Nebraska Wine Festival, and many more. Other job responsibilities include membership drives, database management, board governance and facilitation, and marketing.


CURRENT OPENINGS

  • Advanced Association Management is currently hiring for an Account Coordinator position. (Full-time, 8am-5pm, M-F, Some travel and overtime required.) The position requires some overnight travel based on events. Experience in event management, strong interpersonal relations skills, demonstrated organizational skills, and oral/written communication skills are preferred. Microsoft OS knowledge required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. The AAM office is located in Milford – 15 miles west of Lincoln, Nebraska.

    This position assists the Account Executives in planning and managing multiple conferences and educational events for assigned trade and non-profit associations.

    Account Coordinator Responsibilities:

    • Association member services and membership drives; initiation and oversight of membership campaign through the online client software

    • Assisting with board meetings.

    • Event coordination, management, and support

    • Posting website and social media content and email support

    • The candidate must be organized and detail-oriented, able to manage projects, deadlines, and priorities for multiple clients, and work independently and effectively with a team of staff and volunteers.

    Account Coordinator Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

    • 1-3 years of success in an administrative support role

    • Highly proficient in the use of Outlook to manage email and multiple calendars

    • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

    • Excellent organization and attention to detail, and quality

    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks and to work well under pressure

    • Flexible team player who genuinely enjoys working with a diverse range of people who enjoys a fast-paced environment
